1. Accepting these terms
By requesting Beta access, activating a Beta license, or using FrameForge, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Beta.
2. Beta access
Access is limited, manually approved, and may be refused or withdrawn. A standard Beta license is for one person on one Windows computer and lasts 7 days from its first successful activation. The software must periodically connect to validate the license.
3. License and permitted use
FrameForge Labs grants approved testers a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Beta during the evaluation period. You may use the videos and other creative work you produce with FrameForge for personal or commercial purposes. FrameForge does not claim ownership of your scripts, narration, images, videos, or final productions.
4. Restrictions
You may not sell, sublicense, share, publish, or redistribute the FrameForge installer or license key; bypass license or device controls; use another tester’s key; interfere with the service; or reverse engineer the software except where applicable law expressly permits it.
5. Your projects and backups
You are responsible for having the rights to the media you use and for keeping backups of project files and outputs. FrameForge is a production tool, not a backup or cloud-storage service. Review exported timelines and rendered media before publication.
6. Beta software
The Beta is unfinished and may contain bugs, change without notice, or produce incomplete results. Features, file formats, availability, system requirements, and license rules may change during testing. We may pause the Beta for maintenance, security, or product changes.
7. Third-party products
DaVinci Resolve and any optional models, services, media sources, or other third-party products are separate from FrameForge and are governed by their own terms. They are not included with the Beta unless explicitly stated.
8. Feedback
If you submit suggestions, bug reports, or workflow ideas, you allow FrameForge Labs to use that feedback to improve FrameForge without payment or obligation. This does not transfer ownership of your project content.
9. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or revoke access for license sharing, abuse, security risks, violations of these Terms, or the end of the Beta program. When access ends, you must stop using the software and must not redistribute the installer or key. Your previously exported creative work remains yours.
10. Disclaimers and liability
To the extent permitted by law, the Beta is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for a particular production. FrameForge Labs is not responsible for lost files, missed publication dates, third-party failures, or indirect losses arising from Beta use. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Quebec and the applicable federal laws of Canada, subject to mandatory consumer protections that may apply where you live.
12. Changes and contact
We may update these Terms as the Beta develops. The effective date above will change when a material revision is published. For questions about these Terms, use the website contact form.
